The Cologne Cathedral is the landmark of Cologne, visible from afar, and the centre of the city. After Ulm Cathedral, Cologne Cathedral is the second highest church in Germany and the third highest church in the world.

In 1996, UNESCO declared the cathedral to be one of the greatest European masterpieces of Gothic architecture and a World Heritage Site.

The Hohenzollern Bridge

The Hohenzollern Bridge connects the two banks of the Rhine, Deutz and the main railway station and is the only connection to the other side of the Rhine in Cologne for rail traffic.
