Highline179 – Suspension Bridge in Reutte

A view with a thrill!

Just 24 km from Hohenschwangau, a ca. 30 minutes drive away, is an experience you will never forget! At the heart of the idyllic landscape, surrounded by kilometres of forests and imposing mountains, the highline179 spans the valley, linking the historic ruins of Ehrenberg with Fort Claudia. The narrow, open design of the highline179 gives visitors a unique floating feeling as they cross it.

The height of 114 m and the 360° panoramic views make a visit a very special experience. Since November 2014, visitors have been able to prove their courage every day from 8 am to 10 pm by “conquering” the highline179. From spring 2019, an angled elevator will provide disabled access to the bridge.
