A unique place for a royal experience
The new AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa is in one of the most attractive locations in Germany, at the foot of the two King Ludwig’s castles, Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein.
With a view of the Alpsee, surrounded by forests and an extraordinary panorama of mountains, this new hotel is a unique blend of nature and culture with the spirit of AMERON. This is backed by our philosophy that every AMERON hotel is unique – influenced by the individuality of its region while at the same time guaranteeing a uniform high level of quality, service and hospitality.
The AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa in Hohenschwangau, part of the town of Schwangau near Füssen in Allgäu, is one of the first of the new generation of AMERON hotels. Its special character is based on a melting of contrasts, which have been combined both carefully and stylishly.
Tradition combined with modernity, classic elegance with urban flair.
The foundations of the new AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa are created by the three traditional hotels of Alpenrose, Jägerhaus and Schlosshotel Lisl, which have been interwoven with Hohenschwangau for more than 100 years. These have been renovated with the new buildings Galeria and Seehaus to form a whole new – a unit which embodies history while writing the future.
A total of 137 rooms and suites, conference facilities, a large spa facility with direct view to the Alpsee, a Kids Club and various restaurants will be housed in the large hotel complex.
The combination of tradition and modern continues in the interior of the AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa. Warm colours and the use of natural materials such as wood, leather and linen build on the original fittings of the historic buildings with a new contemporary interpretation. Combined with minimalist accessories, discreet accent colours and selected designer furniture, they create an ambience which reflects the tradition of Hohenschwangau as well as its zeitgeist.
