Our restaurant in the historic building of the former Schlosshotel Lisl has a special atmosphere at all times of the day and night. The large conservatory and three terraces have excellent views of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. Located above the east wing of Neuschwanstein, you are close to the action – yet far away from the hustle and bustle.
Our kitchen team serves modern Bavaria Alpine cuisine both at lunchtime and in the evening. During the day you can also choose from an extensive cake buffet. We can also prepare the dishes of your choice.
Our culinary credo: food must be seasonal and regional with special attention paid to the quality of all the ingredients. Following the “Farm to table” principle, we therefore buy our produce almost exclusively from traditional businesses in the region.
For example, the cheese comes from Käserei HochAlp in nearby Buching, made exclusively from cows grazed on hay and meadow grass. Meat and cooked meats are sourced from Landmetzgerei Baur, which only uses animals from the region and also produces a special bratwurst for the Lisl. Our regional, seasonal fruit and vegetables are purchased from Reichenau Island in Lake Constance while baked goods and natural sourdough bread is supplied fresh every day by Bäckerei Gschwill. Finally, a fine selection of German and international wines rounds off your culinary experience at the Lisl.
