What restrictions are currently to be expected?

Masks are compulsory throughout the hotel.

At check-in you will need a confirmation that you are tested, vaccinated or recovered. You can find more information about this under "Arrival".

Tested persons have to present a negative test every 72 hours during their stay.

Different table times are available for breakfast and dinner. You can find more information about this under "breakfast buffet" and "gastronomic offer".

The spa is open, but with restrictions on the number of persons permitted.

Who is allowed to travel?

Negatively tested, vaccinated and recovered persons may travel.

Are the castles open?

The castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau and the Museum of the Bavarian Kings are open. Please book tickets via the website https://www.hohenschwangau.de/tickets-fuehrung/offizielle-tickets

Is there a breakfast buffet?

Yes, there is a breakfast buffet from 07.00 am to 11.00 am. The buffet is served with disposable gloves.

With the room reservation, a table reservation must also be made there, either from 07.00 am to 08.00 am or from 08.30 am to 09.30 am or from 10.00 am to 11.00 am (first come, first serve).

What do I need to consider for my journey?

For check-in, the 3G principle applies:

  • Tested: negative, current Corona test (PCR test or POC antigen test taken no more than 24 hrs ago). Alternatively, a self-test performed on site under supervision, which you can purchase at the reception desk for a contribution towards expenses of 5.00 EUR. There is also a test center in Schwangau, not far from the hotel.
  • Vaccinated: proof of a complete (14 days after the second vaccination) vaccination
  • Convalescent: Corona infection proven with a PCR test. The positive test must be at least 28 days, but not more than 6 months old

What gastronomic offer is available to me?

Our restaurant Lisl opens daily for house guests from 06.00 pm to 10.00 pm. The following reservable table times are currently available 06.00 pm – 08.00 pm, 06.30 pm – 08.30 pm, 08.00 pm – 10.00 pm, 08.30 pm - 10.00 pm. We kindly ask you to make a reservation in time.

The Schloss Bräustüberl opens daily (in fine weather with beer garden) from 11.30 am to 07.00 pm.

The Ludwig Bar is open from noon to midnight. In the Lobby Bar we welcome you from noon - 06.00 pm.

The Alpenrose am See Restaurant & Terrasse is open from Thursday - Sunday from noon - 08.00 pm.
