The Althoff Hygiene Program

Your health, and that of our employees, is our highest priority, therefore we have prepared all necessary safety measures and will be a prudent host to you.

During the past weeks a team of experts has been working intensively on the "BE WELL" hygiene programme by the Althoff Hotels. It is of high importance to us to offer you the greatest possible security and excellent service during your stay in our hotels.

It is inevitable that some measures will result in a reorientation of our offers, we have modified catering offers, will have to comply with official requirements for your event and will have alternative programs for the spa. We ask for your understanding in advance.

With the following measures we will do everything to protect you, our valued guests, our team and all friends of the AMERON Bonn Hotel Königshof.

Public areas

- Mandatory mouthguards for employees in contact with guests

- Face masks are provided for our guests on request

- Hand disinfectant dispensers in the public areas (lobby, restaurants, bar, elevators)

- Disinfection dispenser at the reception and toilets

- Distance markings (at least 1.5 metres distance) at the places in the hotel with an increased number of guests

- Hourly disinfection of contact surfaces (door handles, elevator call button, counter surfaces at receptions etc.)

- Regular ventilation of public areas

- Maximum number of two persons for simultaneous use of the lift (except for persons travelling together)

- Attention is drawn to hygiene rules of conduct through notices at central points

- limited use of fitness and spa areas

Reservation, reception, check-in and check-out

- Only one signature on arrival, if you have already submitted all guest data online

- We recommend a cashless payment if possible

- Disinfection of the room keys and cards

Restaurant and bar area

- The prescribed minimum distance to adjacent tables is maintained

- Opening hours can vary

- It may happen that guests dine at longer intervals as a result

Events

- Event bookings will be made again as soon as the requirements of the federal government or state government allow it

- Lunch and coffee break offers à la carte or e.g. in the form of lunch boxes

- Regular disinfection of all surfaces by employees and regular ventilation of the event rooms

Room cleaning

- A room seal is placed at the entrance, a minibar seal is placed at the minibar. It is clearly visible that no other person has opened the room / minibar in the meantime

- Surface disinfection of the guest rooms in consultation with the guest

- Regular disinfection of door handles, light switches, handrails on stairs etc. at high frequency

- Equipment such as magazines, writing utensils, decorative cushions or plaids must be removed from the rooms until further notice

- Cleaning agent with Dr. Schnell certificate

In order to offer you the best possible flexibility in these uncertain times, all guests and customers can cancel their reservations made directly through us from 1 June onwards and not exceeding 30 June free of charge.
